Dr. Seth graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Bio-Engineering from Cornell University, where he was recognized as the John McMullen Dean's Academic Scholar. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, receiving several scholarships, followed by his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Dr. Seth completed his ophthalmology residency at Yale University School of Medicine, where he was appointed Chief Resident and was honored with the Marvin L. Sears Award for Clinical Excellence. He then completed a two-year medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship with a concentration in uveitis at Yale, where he also served as Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology.
For two and a half years prior to joining RVS, Dr. Seth served as Director of the Retina Section and Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, where he taught and mentored medical students and ophthalmology residents.
Dr. Seth has been involved in numerous national clinical trials and has authored many peer-reviewed journal papers and book chapters. He is Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the New York State Medical Society. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
During his spare time, Dr. Seth enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fitness, golf, tennis, and skiing.
